To the Beach

It was a little chilly out, but still a great day to walk along the beach.

I love this Osprey pic that John got!

I was so happy to see a Killdeer!

ThreeC, John nailed that shot! AWESOME!

The Killdeers are so neat. Love their big soulful eyes.

Froggy, we had a great afternoon. Felt nice getting out with the family.

Chilly? how chilly? bwahahahahaha. The pictue of the Osprey is really good. Did he use a special lens?

You gotcha yourself a whole family of photographers. My wildlife photography mentor said that exact thing, shooting from your car is a great way to shoot birds since the birds are so acclimated to having cars around, as long as you're quiet, they won't notice you as much as if you were crashing around in their backyard.

Great job, all of you. I can feel the sand between my toes.

I wish you'd come and visit. xoxo.

Birding from the car is a geat way to go. Handicap friendly too. ;)

MS, :) I'm always happy to see you here.

Chickory, I really like the osprey pic too. So many little details. Like the talons the best.

Thanks, Erin!

That osprey picture is amazing. That spot must be a treasure to walk and photograph. It is a sanctuary or refuge of any sort?

Kelly, these were all taken at Ft. Desoto. It's one of the few places around here that has a barrier free handicap trail that goes out to the beach.
