Sure wish we could go to the beach today, it' just too nice out there to work (i'm stuck inside all day). I hope you and the little one have a great afternoon!
It's part of living in Florida -- one of its number one appeals -- to go walking on the beach, or wherever, in bare feet ... and most of all, finding treasure.
they were terrible to the chicks i tried to take 2 years ago. the new chicks just cried all the time. i gave them away. i dont know what i will get i cant tell what they are! i wanted to order exact breeds but mcmurry makes you buy 25 chickens at a minimum.
maybe i will keep them separate for a while? but my hens arent laying as often they will be 5 years old in march!
K9, you might want to check out My Pet Chicken.com. That's where ours came from. They have a min. order of only three with lots of breeds to choose from.
What is it with our chickens not wanting to get along? We started out with our three big girls and then I ordered more, thinking they would become this happy little flock. NOT!! They hate each other and we have to keep them seperated at all times. Not at all what I had in mind. So frustrating!
Summertime!
ReplyDeleteAwesome! In the most literal sense of the word!
ReplyDeleteDarla, I love summer and the warm Gulf waters.
ReplyDeleteThreecollie, y'all would have such a good time in Florida. Just don't come in September! Soooo hot!

Robert, keeping shoes on my child has been a big struggle. :)
ReplyDeleteK9, we've got one roo, Cotton, who is a White Crested Black Polish. Beautiful breed of chicken.
I can't wait to see which breeds you go with! So exciting. Will your two hens be okay with new ones coming in?
How cool! Those are so neat!

To be in bare feet again! We are still stuck in winter here. *sigh*
ReplyDeleteI love the feel of sand on my feet and the backache of the shell search stoop.
ReplyDeleteBig envy.
