Shamu, hittin' the beach as soon as we roll out in the morning. Let the good times begin!
Darla, those were great pool pics!
Chickory, Vera is a little Antwerp Belgian. A gorgeous breed! I still get sad sometimes that we weren't able to keep her mate Aloe. He was turning into a beautiful roo!
oh! well, i just ordered 2 antwerp belgians and 3 barred rocks from my pet chicken. they will arrive on july 2! now i know what they will look like. they didnt have a picture of a mature antwerp on the site. oh yeah, i paid extra for girls. Dear God let me get lucky.
just read shamus comment. bastids indeed! V is very worried that Dusty's crowing is going to make the neighbors complain. i love the crowing but...thats me. beats the heck outta leaf blowers!
Chickory, our first order from MPC, we paid the extra and got three girls out of five (Laverne, Vera and Yoko). Second time round, they were all girls.
I hope our neighbors always stay cool with us having the girls. All it takes is one call...then, Mr.Code Man.
Promise we can go to Casa Tina's in August or maybe I'll have to call Mr. Code Man myself. ; ) hee hee. I probably shouldn't joke like that with all the hen and rooster lovers you've got reading this.
The Chicken Underground. I wish. One neighbor has already complained about one of my dogs barking. Mind you, he's not an outside dog and it was 10 am in the morn. Not to mention my electric lawn mower. That neighbor would report me in a NY minute.
So besides beach time and dolphin chasing, what other fun activities will the summer lovin' family be doing this year? Ever make sunprints? Lord knows you have an overabundance of sun.
Nothing much planned. I would like to sneak away to Sanibel, but it all depends on if our friends are in town to watch the animals. Our concern has always been Kitty and she needs insulin twice a day.
Shamu, I've never done the sun prints before, but I think it's a great idea for the summer! My AWESOME SIL did some at my niece's bday party and they turned out really cool.
Lordy Shamu! Sounds like the neighbor is a real winner. People like that scare me.
Hey Dani What a wonderful picture. sorry I was late getting to this one...I have to get more picture frames. No better way to spend Grandma Money which, by the way, is totally different from Bill Money. LOL I wish for you the most wonderful summer. Enjoy it. You truly deserve it. I'll be with you soon. Mom

ReplyDelete4thborn, I promise. :)Can't wait to see you all!
ReplyDeleteBig Shamu - you need to become part of the chicken underground. Keeping a covert coop of clandestine chickens is the only way to go - LOL.
ReplyDeleteDani - really great pic!! Love the 2 girls! Got any grand summer plans with the kiddo?

ReplyDeleteFun days ahead! :)

ReplyDeleteJenn

ReplyDeleteDiva, yeah, no roosters in the city. That's a big no-no.
ReplyDeleteLisa, we love the summers! It's so fun to be out and about together.
