  1. These are great, Dani. How fast did you run into the house to get your camera?

  9. 3C, they weren't bothered by us at all! Sleep was the priority.

Annie, it was so neat seeing the red coloring on the one owl. That was a first for me.

Kathryn, sure thing! It's always great to have a local blogger buddy. :)

  11. Wow! How cool! So many times one must be super-observant to see nature like this! I wonder how many people miss out on things right there under their noses because they aren't paying attention?

    Thank you!

  12. Oh wow! Those owls are really awesome! They look quite cuddly...aside from their giant claws!

  13. FC, woohoo! I ROCK! :0 It makes my day getting compliments like that.

Diva, glad you liked them! I've been keeping an eye out in the evening to see if they fly into the yard. It would be so cool to observe them awake!

Lisa, I'm still jealous over all the birds you saw on vacation. :)

Holly, they do have an impressive set of claws! I would hate to be the prey on the end of those.

  14. They are so cute. And they look sleepy. You did better in one afternoon than all my time in the Ding.

  15. Had to show my 3 year old the owl pics....though I don't think he was convinced that it was an owl! Great capture.

  16. Sham, are you home from Sanibel?

Whiterice, It was so cool just watching them sleeping and snuggling up to each other! Definitely high on the cute meter.
