What a great weekend we had! Lots of sunshine and warm weather.
It felt so good being outside, pulling up carrot treasures, getting our hands dirty.
Best part of all though, was enjoying Elizabeth's laughter and Ollie's silliness.
They're such a pair!
Oh, my goodness! Those are beautiful! I thought of my Florida friends when a robin was serenading behind the hen house this morning. Thanks for feeding them all winter!
ReplyDeleteWe just planted carrots yesterday!! It was a splendid weekend wasn't it!! Love these photos.
ReplyDeletehmmmmm, I bet those carrots are sweet sweet sweet. Better than candy.
ReplyDeleteThe seed company should use Elizabeth's photo on their website.

ThreeCollie,
ReplyDeleteYour robins are still here! I was photographing them yesterday.
Dani, those carrots and carrot pickn crew are all beautiful!
I love those chunky carrots so much. I've only ever had them in Mexico. So delish. Love the daughter and dog pics too!
ReplyDeleteThreeC, you are so welcome! We love having them for the winter. :)
ReplyDeleteDarla, it was perfect!! Felt so good.
Shamy, they have a great taste, with a nice crunch. Perfect carrot. I could have sworn I planted atomic reds though...
Erin, they should have probably been pulled a few weeks ago. Oops.
Chickory, I'm so excited about your chick picture up for grabs! I hope you pull my name. :)
Mom, sorry I missed your call today.I'll catch up with yah in the morning. Love you.
Thanks FC. Planted my seeds today. Woohoo!
MS, I'm gonna have to go through my seed box tomorrow, cause I'm not quite sure what kind they are now.
So was Ollie helping harvest the carrots or just getting in the way? Great, vibrant, uplifting photographs.
ReplyDeleteWell, if being helpful was nabbing the carrots and running willy-nilly around the yard with them, then I'd say he did a damn fine job. ;)
ReplyDeleteThose are some kickin' carrots! Great job!!!
ReplyDeleteThose look so good! Your green thumb never ceases to amaze me.
ReplyDeleteThose are the cutest chubby carrots!!! Yum!
ReplyDeleteWow, look at those gordito carrots! I would like them roasted under a fat chicken please. Do you ever do that? I put the chicken right on the carrots to roast, makes them taste scrumptious. It wasn't til I was an adult that I actually understood when my aunties told me "Eat those carrots, they taste like candy!"
ReplyDeleteDiva, I think I'm gonna give that a try tonight for dinner.
