Oooh, a KitchenAide. Nice mixer. If I bought something like that for the Mrs for Mother's Day, she wouldn't talk to me for a month (which is almost worth getting such a fine mixer). I did get her an electric wine bottle opener (because she's such a lush)ans she seems to be good with it. We haven't given it a try yet, but I think she's going to like it.
Sweet! Nice to know someone else out there appreciates a red mixer enough to get one! I love mine and I am sure you will too. I will never buy another kind of mixer, and as solidly as this is made, it should last the rest of my life, although I put it through its paces with pound cake and empanada dough production!
What you should make are flame decals to go up the sides.
ReplyDeleteI just might have to love him too.
Happy Mother's Day.
Shamy, YES!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteIt was a good Mother's Day. Spent the day at home just enjoying the garden. Got to talk to my brother and sister which made the day even better.
What attachments do you have for your mixer?
Dough hook, whisk, paddle, I think I have the grinder but I don't think I've ever used it. I also have a neat little gadget that makes spaghetti.
ReplyDeleteOh and John smoked a big ole hunk of pork for LIKE 6 hours on the grill. Y-U-M-M-Y

ReplyDeleteI gotta look into the pasta attachment.
ReplyDeleteBuzz, the upside to not liking jewelry for special occasions is I get cool gifts like this or a new camera to play with.
And stump removal.
ReplyDeleteStumps AND he installed recessed lighting in the kitchen. Sweeeeeeet!
ReplyDelete*sigh* a turkey would have been nice too.
ReplyDeleteJust sayin'.
splendiferous color! I have one (white, yawn) and loves it!
ReplyDeleteFroggy, it's such a wonderful thing to have in the kitchen. Can't wait to try my hand at bread making.
ReplyDeleteCongrats! I agree with the flames up the side, LOL!
ReplyDeleteAlthough....just the desire for a turkey sure does spur a lot of fine "instead of" gifts.
ReplyDeleteWhile I see Shamy's point about the turkey, I think this is a LOVELY gift regardless.
ReplyDeleteAnd you got RED. You are the Starsky and Hutch of the kitchen!!
Congrats, it's boooooeeeeeful!
Very nice!
ReplyDeleteErin, gonna have to make a run to the craft store. They should have some clingy sheets of some sort.
ReplyDeleteShamy, good point.
MS, red, red, red, red!!!!!! I'm in love with it's redness!!!!

ReplyDeleteCongrats,
Ken
Yep, he's a keeper. And so is that Kitchen Aid. Enjoy! Happy you had such a good Mother's Day!
ReplyDeleteIt's the color that got me.
ReplyDelete:-)
Awesome! I use my cobalt blue guy all the time. One of my favorites in the kitchen. He mixes anything.
