  2. I miss him. More now as I get older and I watch my own child grow up.

  3. I remember

The sound of his beloved Heilderberg press running.

The comfort of the red light in the darkroom when he was burning plates.

The clanging of the linotype and the smell of ink.

The old cars that he loved to tinker with.

His love of stamps and coins.

    His beautiful blue eyes.

  5. I understand and I think it helps to keep them alive when we remember/honor them as much as we can. Still....... it's not easy.

  6. No, it's never easy. But time has softened the blow. Now it's just the everyday ache that we all carry after we lose a parent.

  9. Thank you my sweet sister. I love you so much. ((((BIG SQUEEZES))))

Shamy, finding those negatives and you knowing where to get them developed was a miracle. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything that your friendship has given me.

  10. Just remember that when you want to throw a shoe at my namesake, Baby Shamy, for getting into some sort of trouble.
