Jiminy cricket! You got me with the snake photo for sure. I bet you aren't afraid of them either. Your flowers and veggies look great...that chick is too cute!
I don't know nuthin' 'bout farm animals, but I love that shaggy black chicken!! What a cutie! He/she ought to be in the movies. Pretty flowers - slimey snake...I know they're not slimey and they're good to have around but eww!!
Dani, Love the photos! Even the snake. I have one in my yard too, and since they do a good job of keeping the pests down, I decided to name him (or her) Earl. Earl keeps me on my toes when I garden, and I do the same for him/her (were he/she to actually have toes). I am in love with the chick. I don't know much about chickens, but I imagine that that one has a lot of personality!
Our little Shammy is growing up!
ReplyDeleteAnd.... SNAKE!!!
I should have put up a snake warning. :)

Yep, a black racer. I think this one was a female. Pretty slender body throughout.
That's a good-sized snake there in your garden. Love the pic of the blanket flower patch. They take such great photos.

Hey Dani,
ReplyDeleteI come back almost every day and giggle when I see Shamy!
Patti
wow! I love them all - the peppers look great witht hat dark coloring. but that silke sure is adorable!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty, even the snake!
ReplyDeleteThe Boy brought one this size in the living room a few weeks ago. I'm not afraid of snakes but seriously I wish he'd keep them outside.
ReplyDeleteDani what are the flowers under Shammy's photo? I need something invasive and they are pretty. And where to buy in St. Pete?
ReplyDeleteSPP, they're pretty blanket flower. I see them come through the box stores every so often. Best bet would be a native plant nursery.
