All our Thanksgiving guests took off for Boise where new baby was finally convinced that her mother was not going to carry her until kindergarten. Baby was due first week of November. I don't know if I can make a *small* Thanksgiving dinner. Told my BIL he better stop by on the way back so I can stuff him full of leftovers.
I am in charge of the turkey roasting this year. Takes one to cook one? Anyway, I am cooking 2 of em, because last year I did NOT get any turkey sandwiches the next day and that is the BEST part of the holiday meal to me. Bear is my sous chef.
I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving. Your garden is tres lush!
Is that really a banana tree? Hope your Thanksgiving was wonderful. My kids brought all the food. I only had to fix mashed potatoes and bake a few frozen pies. They even did the clean-up and the grandkids took care of all my livestock chores. (PS for THE BEST frozen pumpkin and pecan pies, go to Braums.) Ron and I were hosted in our own home.
Beautiful! Late to the party here since I'm still waiting on regular internet. We all went out to eat on Wednesday night; and then on Thursday the girls asked for Thanksgiving Dinner!!!!!!! So I cobbled together something hasty involving rotisserie chicken, stove top stuffing, packaged gravy, and real mashed potatoes. The kidlets were satisfied and it tasted better than I imagined.
Yesterday they decorated the cottage for Christmas. It looks fantastic!!
I look forward to being back more regularly by the end of the week! All I want for Christmas is my home internet...
