The Winter Garden

Good stuff growing in the garden right now.
Beautiful Red Acre Cabbage. Also planted Early Jersey Wakefield.
Red Sails Lettuce.
Can't remember the name of the broccoli. Maybe Calabrese?
Ruby Red Swiss Chard.
Winterbore Kale
Mix of cabbages, romaine, and violas.

  5. We just learned yesterday that broccoli and spinach are great sources of calcium. Why didn't we know that?

  6. Our ground is froze solid now, so it's nice to see some flora from the south.

Happy New Year to you and yours.
