  4. Hi Dani. I see you started your cowpeas. It's only in the low 60s here and I'm thinking it's too cold. What's your temperature like these days? Nice backyard, very inviting.

  5. Prospero, the temp today is supposed to be a high of 86 and the rest of the week will be in the low 80s. A lot of my winter veggies are starting to bolt now, so from here on out it will be summer veggies.

  14. What are cowpeas?
I'm ready to come sit in your garden in the evenings. Up here in the Carolinas we are just now soaking our Moonflower seeds and won't really put out veggie plants until next week.

  15. Shamu, lol. Poor Charlie Brown never had it easy.

Thanks Aunty! Anytime you and Uncle come this way give me a shout.

Fishy, I tried to cut and paste the info from Wikipedia, but my computer isn't going for it. Sorry. :)

My moon flowers that I sowed never came up. I'm wondering now if it's because I didn't soak them.

  18. You have a great mix of flowers and veggies. I was going to plant some veggies in my front yard, too, but now that I'm gardening at my neighbor's, I probably won't.

  19. I am just going to have to drive down there and slap you silly! I'm so jealous of your wonderful weather! And dolphins and even your chickens. :) Of course if I go to the trouble to get down there I better stay for a while.

  20. Sue, gardening at the neighbor's? You're a genius! I'm gonna start planning now for the take over. ;)
