Dim Sum Sunday ~ In the Bag

For this week's Dim Sum Sunday, we went with this recipe from Alton Brown.

Salmon Fillet en Papillote with Julienne Vegetables

(sigh...I wish I could find a good indoor setting on my camera)

A nice and light dish of salmon and vegetables wrapped up in parchment. The only thing I did different, was bake the fish in the oven, instead of in the microwave.

Simple, simple, simple!

Head on over to the Karmic Kitchen for more Sunday fun.

Dim Sum Sunday ~ Summer Soups

After taking a few weeks off, we're back with this week's theme of Summer Soups.

I had a tough time last week trying to find a recipe that I liked, but luckily after a whole lot of whining and searching, I found this recipe for Lime Soup with Tortilla Strips and Chicken.

Maybe not quite what you would expect when you think of summer soups, but it is 90 some degrees outside and it is a soup, so technically.....;)

It really was a great soup that I'll definitely make again. Very light and tasty. Perfect for a summer day.

Head on over to The Karmic Kitchen for some more tasty summer soups. :)
