As long as you keep posting pretty pictures of lovely flowers, I might make it through the cold gray winter here.

Darla, hope you're doin' better.

Vonnie, really? I didn't know goldenrod was bad on the allergies.

Shamy, looks like I have a mission now for the winter. :)

Thanks ThreeC!

What are you harvesting now Dani? Just got my first CSA yesterday: rose hips, callaloo, green beans, lemongrass, dill, lettuce.

Dani said...

Diva, some tomatoes, kohlrabi, lot's of basil, green beans, and broccoli.

What do you do with rose hips?

LaDivaCucina said...

I still have not tried kohlrabi, sounds great! Do you eat lamb? I make a Lebanese dish with loads of garlic, tomatoes, green beans and lamb. (lubyee)

I made a mistake, it's hibiscus NOT rosehips but similar in that pink/bitter taste. I'm not sure, maybe I'll make a syrup and use it to flavor sorbet or tea. I made an avocado coconut ice cream recently cuz I didn't know what else to do with them!

PS: Doing the next "throwdown" if you want to participate!
