Is the 4th one down Basil? It looks nice and healthy. All of mine just died the other day. I will miss it.

Thanks Darla. Everything is finally starting to perk back up from the heat.

Chickory, are you doing a fall garden?

Buzz, yep, a bumper crop this season. I think I'll make some yummy pesto with them.

Sorry to hear about yours. Did the cooler weather get it?

OMG, that last photo? Looks like something out of a science fiction movie! What is that? And, dang it, where was I for the embroidery give-a-way?

I think Son of Old Faithful is going to feel right at home. You might sprinkle some ice shavings over him in December, just for old times sake.

I swear Shamy it's not safe to read your comments while I'm eating!
Hopefully he doesn't go into shock from the temp. change.

Welcome to Florida baby! ;)

Moi, that alien being would be kohlrabi. They're good eats nicely steamed with a little bit of butter or olive oil.

Next giveaway, I'll let run a couple weeks to give everyone a chance. :) Right now, I'm slaving over the sewing machine making market bags. So there might be one of those up for grabs.

Yeah, we had a frost and I didn't get the Basil in the house (it was potted). I think I saved the Rosemary and Thyme though.

Everything looks so good. We are in our brown season right now. Ugh!
I can hardly wait until I get the deluge of the Feed and Seed catalogs right after Christmas. Then, the Drama! begins as I try to sort thru everything. I thnk I need a life. Love you, talk soon

Is that first pic some variety of gaillardia?

Buzz, I bet it smells nice having them in the house.

Mom, seed catalogs are the highlight of winter!
Love yah too.

FC, they're a Mardi Gras Coreopsis. Just let me know if you'd like some seeds. :)

Oy, I totally missed this post. Your basil is insanely gorgeous. Makes me want to grow some again.
