Those look amazingly adorable! Love the rainbow cupcakes, I keep seeing them on the interwebs and I'm a'skeered to try 'em, they look like a ton o' work. Clearly in this case they paid off. I never knew Peeps could actually be cute. Nice work!
You all are cracking me up! do you know I have never even tasted a Peep or even bought one? I didn't even know what they were until a couple of years ago. Maybe I should come of of the Peep closet, or Peep Out! Am I the only one who thinks they look kind of gross? Maybe it's because I only like chocolate and nothing else, I even scrape frosting off cake. But I do love me some chocolate bunnies!!
OMG my teeth hurt just looking, lol!!
ReplyDeleteThe Flying Wedge of Sugar.
ReplyDeleteThey need to make mini Peeps.
I love the rainbow cupcakes. Were they fun to make?

ReplyDeleteyou know, a peeps spray painted to look like turkeys is a perfect idea for thanksgiving!
ReplyDeletePeeps are always so cute I feel guilty about eating them but on top of those cupcakes they wouldn't last any time LOL
ReplyDeleteReally cute here!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty!
ReplyDeleteLOOK at that gleaming shiny icing! I needs me that recipe. Before my dentist tapes my mouth shut for anything except vegetables.
ReplyDeleteCupcakes can never have too much sugar. That's why the body invented the diabetic comas - to let you know when you've gone a peep too far.
ReplyDeleteI'm kind of going this route with my peep experimentation. We'll see how it comes out.

ThreeC, I like my cookies like that. :)
MS, it was super easy. We did a box cake(gasp)and just split the batter and added food coloring. The Sweeties would love them.
Thanks Eggy!! It was a long night...lol
Chickory, you ROCKED that Peep Wreath girlfriend! It was so cute and creepy.
ScMomma, hehehe. You're such a sweetie. :)
Darla, I'm surprised you and the kids haven't done these. It's the perfect way to pass a rainy afternoon.
Thanks Diva. Next time, we're gonna try them with some brighter colored batter.
Buzz, can't wait to see it! You always come up with something good.
Moi, I'm like Erin, I could just feel my teeth hurting from all that sugar!
and no peeps were injured in the making of these cupcakes.....
ReplyDelete...unlike Shamy's Peeps who were dissected with sharp Exacto Blade precision or Chickory's varnished Peeps.
ReplyDelete*sniff* *sniff* poor little peeps.
ReplyDeleteThe peeps never did much for me but let me alone with those cupcakes!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteLisaKay, I hear yah cous!!!
