Are you serious? Ours will be later in the summer...don't you just love them?

Darla, she was an early one for sure! Very strange.

Nice! We won't seem them until late July, but we have a few brown leaf-shaped pretty ones around.

ThreeC, July seems about right for us too.
Maybe this momma monarch just wants a head start on the season.

Let's hope for a bumper crop of butterflies to replenish the winter loss.

She's probably as tired of winter as we are and has decided to start summer early. I don't blame her a bit!

Ah, Spring at last. I have several of the little blue ones. I think they're Sulphur butterflies, but I'm not sure. I made a mud bath for them and they seem to enjoy it.
Sixty more days Dani, l'll be there.
Love you Baby Girl

Gosh, I clearly don't know as much about butterfly seasonality as everyone else around here. But I sure enjoyed that photo! Thanks, Dani.

I love nature nerds! The Easter bunny brought Ella a butterfly house. Now we have to mail away for the painted lady caterpillars I suppose we should wait for it to get a little warmer? MFD

Ria, that Easter Bunny is one cool rabbit. :)If y'all are past the point of any serious cold fronts coming through, then I'd go ahead and order.
