Avian Pox

Yeah, pretty scary.

So this is where we're at right now. Swollen, scabby and lethargic.

I'm giving the Girlz water soluble antibiotics, to help fight any infections from the sores, and also applying Iodine to help dry the sores up....now we're just hoping for the best.

  5. Wow, I've never seen anything like that before. I hope it doesn't effect her vision. Animals, kids - they all get sick and mom has to take care of them. Good luck.

  7. Kate, I'm using Tylan right now from the vet, but I'm pretty sure it can be bought online or at your local feed store.

  13. Idon't remember praying for chickens, so I did it anyway...Poor babies, poorMama and company. I hate to see the little ones have to suffer. I've been positive all day today that they will be ok. Love you
