  1. There is nothing lazy in these photos. I would like to work in my gardens and containers this weekend, depending on if I see another freakin' snake or not!

  2. Seed flats are NOT lazy! Great photos, I will be ripping out the summer garden all weekend and planning for fall - I want to put my seedlings in but am too afraid of hurricane Earl next week tracking our way plus if I put them in, it is sure to hit the 90's again! And Darla, eeek! my neighbor killed a copperhead 2 days ago and now I'm freaking too, we have been snake free so far this summer (that I've seen!) but now I'm a'scared again!

  3. Darla, I'm sorry girlfriend. I know how much you dislike them. I'm the same with the big honkin' flying cockroaches. :)

I think we're gonna take the puppies out to a dog park or hit the local dog beach.

Erin, I swear, what is it with the crazy weather after we plant seeds?! Feels like mother nature is out to get us sometimes.

  4. You don't look lazy to me with all those seeds beginning to sprout. I'll be out in the garden this weekend giving it a much needed haircut. Have a great one!

  5. I think I will be making up with Bear after a week of work and rain that has kept him cooped up in the house!

  7. Sounds like you have a lovely weekend of dog activities in store. Glad I'm not the only one who that your photos were anything but lazy. As for me, it has hit me that only two weekends lie between me and a vacation to CA, so better get some stuff done around the homestead and work on trip-plannin'!

    Have a great weekend!

  11. Your chickens look so good. Mine are starting to perk up and fluff a bit with the weather cooling. I'm actually getting quite a few eggs each day again.
