I have missed you so much. Welcome back. Maggie May is really growing. Garden looks good. Everything is dry and so so hot. August is not my favorite month.

Maggie May was Ollie's birthday gift. Poor baby. She was lost too when he died.

Susan, we've been getting rain almost every afternoon these last few weeks. That goes a long way with keeping the veggies goin'.
Anon, yeah, August and September are brutal heat wise.

I know MM can't replace your Ollie, but something that sweet can be a wonderful distraction from grief. I wonder if she knows just how lucky she is to have landed in your garden?

Welcome back Dani, I missed you, your family and your garden adventures! I think that the fact that you live five + hours north of Miami is making a big difference in extending your growing season. Who knew? Ours has been over for a quite a while now.

Diva, the only thing still hanging on in the garden are my peppers.
I should go ahead and pull them and have John cover my beds with plastic. Let them cook for a few weeks and kill off the nematodes.
