So lovely, all of it! My daughter just reminded me we need to hit the farmer's market to buy her fave little tomatoes (what is it with little girls and little tomatoes?) so she can dip them in ranch dressing. LOL
What a gift to the folks in the blizzard to see these lovely images.
I am soooooo envious. How do you grow nasturtiums here? I can't! Tell me where you got the seeds quick so I can order! PLEASE! And then I get to the chicken photo...hello! I laughed so hard. That is the best chicken photo by far.
Is that some kind of squash in that first picture? Do you groom your chickens?
ReplyDeleteThose look like camel tomatoes. My mom use to grow them all the time because they were cool looking.
ReplyDeleteGranny, they're little yellow pear tomatoes. Elizabeth just loves them!
ReplyDeleteBuzz, they're a very old heirloom. I think Thomas Jefferson was growing them in his gardens at Monticello.
Buzz, if you want I can save some seeds for you.
ReplyDeleteI loves the chickens! If we ever get to retire and go back to The Engineer's farm country roots I'm getting some chickens!

Erin, it's messed up, isn't it? ;)
Linda, I'm so sorry sweetie. I can't imagine doing the stuff y'all do when it's that brutal outside.
Lori, that's our Vera girl. She's the sweetest little thing!
Boxer, we'll be dreaming of days like this when summer comes and we're hunkered down to escape the heat.
Chickory, thank you girlfriend. :) Now if only I had a turkey to complete my little farm here.
