Our little Shammy is growing up!And.... SNAKE!!!
I should have put up a snake warning. :)
Jiminy cricket! You got me with the snake photo for sure. I bet you aren't afraid of them either. Your flowers and veggies look great...that chick is too cute!
SHAAAAAMMMMMMYYYYYYYY!!!! That chicken's got stage presence. Woot!Gorgeous photos, all.
That is one fluffy chicken. And don't think I didn't notice which side of the garden gate she was on.I KNEW IT!!! SNAKE!!!!!!!!!! Black racer?
Sorry Darla. :)MS, she's the rock star of The Girlz.Shamy, she's just a little spoiled. lolYep, a black racer. I think this one was a female. Pretty slender body throughout.
That's a good-sized snake there in your garden. Love the pic of the blanket flower patch. They take such great photos.
What a sweet racer!
Uh, DANI!!! Next time a little warning up top, so I know what to expect!!! MFD
ah ha, I just read the comments, and see that you KNEW you should have put a warning. Shameful! ;)
Damn, I'm sorry sis. Next time you can be sure that there will be warning at the beginning of the post. xoxo
Well, at least it's not a Water Moccasin, I'm so tired of those LOL! Beautiful shots!
I don't know nuthin' 'bout farm animals, but I love that shaggy black chicken!! What a cutie! He/she ought to be in the movies. Pretty flowers - slimey snake...I know they're not slimey and they're good to have around but eww!!
all very pretty. Including the snake.:-)
BRAVO for each and every photo. (Love your little Shammy and wish I still had Silkies.)
Dani,Love the photos! Even the snake. I have one in my yard too, and since they do a good job of keeping the pests down, I decided to name him (or her) Earl. Earl keeps me on my toes when I garden, and I do the same for him/her (were he/she to actually have toes). I am in love with the chick. I don't know much about chickens, but I imagine that that one has a lot of personality!-Ken
Hey Dani,I come back almost every day and giggle when I see Shamy!Patti
wow! I love them all - the peppers look great witht hat dark coloring. but that silke sure is adorable!
So pretty, even the snake!
The Boy brought one this size in the living room a few weeks ago. I'm not afraid of snakes but seriously I wish he'd keep them outside.
Dani what are the flowers under Shammy's photo? I need something invasive and they are pretty. And where to buy in St. Pete?
SPP, they're pretty blanket flower. I see them come through the box stores every so often. Best bet would be a native plant nursery.
