Avian Pox

Yeah, pretty scary.

So this is where we're at right now. Swollen, scabby and lethargic.

I'm giving the Girlz water soluble antibiotics, to help fight any infections from the sores, and also applying Iodine to help dry the sores up....now we're just hoping for the best.

Wow, I've never seen anything like that before. I hope it doesn't effect her vision. Animals, kids - they all get sick and mom has to take care of them. Good luck.

Kate, I'm using Tylan right now from the vet, but I'm pretty sure it can be bought online or at your local feed store.

FC, that's right. No pox for us. :)

Kelly, thanks for the well wishes girlfriend!

Darla, it's horrid isn't it?

Buzz, I'm worried about her vision too. *fingers crossed*

I still refuse to think bad thoughts. They will pull through and they are just perfecting their zombie costumes for Halloween.

It's so sad when your littles get sick. I'm with Sham and for being positive. Just hope they aren't too uncomfortable.
