It Feels Wonderful Outside!

  1. Dani, what area of the yard is that garden bed in the last photo? So happy for you all to have beautiful things growing. We're preparing for the long cold winter (though the weather has been beautiful this week, so no complaints from me -- yet!)

  4. Amazing, Dani! Maybe it's my Northern/November state of mind, but I'm just astonished to see how much everything has grown already!

  5. TFB, thanks!

Ria, it's the front yard bed. Started out last spring with just a little area around the bananas...;)

    Erin, nah, just more coffee.

Linda, I love this time of year. Just wish we had more daylight hours to enjoy it.

Eggy, it really is amazing. We have all the windows open enjoying the gulf breeze. The temps are running in the upper 70s. LOVE IT!!!

  6. Son of a BISCUIT EATER!!! HOW?? I know you and I have talked about keeping collards bug free but I think you're holding back on me. Even with the spray those little freaks ate up my collards.

  7. D'OH!! Maybe because it's Bok Choy instead of collards?

  8. I'm having the same trouble. Noticed yesterday that my collards and cabbage all have holes in them. GRRRR!

  9. Our weather is beautiful here and should be for the next week or so. I love the brick path between your beds. Isn't there a cabbage moth that does some damage? I think I read something about it....

  11. Kelly, I love the veggie garden this winter!

    MS, veggies ROCK!

Lorie, you are so sweet. Thank you.

Darla, I'd have it made if the Girlz would just eat the bugs and leave the plants alone. :)

Anon, it does until we hit the heat of summer. ugh.

  14. Me too. Hate winter. As far as I'm concerned, Winter has no redeeming qualities.

Front yard is looking good. I Just know, instead of prairie grasses, there will a beautiful stand of sweet corn next season. Can't wait.
