Any Good Rabbit Recipes?

This is all that is left of 50 eggplants and peppers.

The culprit.

I have two shepherds who are currently working for someone else's garden but I bet they would love a little Florida Eggplant infused Bunny Tartar. They work cheap too.

Grrrrr.......I feel for you. Wish you were closer, I'd share some of our overabundance of pepper plants.

I would loan you our Beagle if we were closer. How frustrating it must have been to find that!

Oh, and we like our rabbit slow cooked in a stew LOL

As soon as I saw the title of your post I knew we had something common!
My garden plants are still indoors but the little blankety-blanks girdled my dwarf pink lilac bush. It MAY survive....I am hoping.
Sorry you lost your plants like that...(the word verification is excesses...that is what we have of bunny rabbits!)

Shamu, Florida Eggplant infused Bunny Tarter...lol, you slay me girlfriend!

Thanks Whiterice!
Gardeners are always such a nice bunch.

ScMomma, it was. That was almost 6 weeks worth of growth and *poof* gone.

Threecollie, they should be grateful we don't wring their necks!

Duane, I think the bunny needs a good home in WVA. :)

oh that rabbit is so cute. wait, nevermind.

dani, thanks for your kind words, re: trout. when she found a bunny i wouldnt let her hurt it. i let it go. i bet it comes back to eat whatever i might get lucky enough to grow

Could be worse ... at least you don't have deer AND rabbits!
I can feel the frustration tho.

Chickory, sounds like you have a good vet looking after Trout. I hope the eye drops help.

FC, now THAT would be frustrating!

There are some definite perks to living in the city.

That little guy must have a bunch of friends. We have all kinds of predators but it just dawned on me that we haven't had rabbits in our garden! I better knock on wood.

Oh no! Poor you! The bunny looks pretty satisfied tho. :)

Yeah, there's nothing more infuriating than full and well satisfied garden bunny.

The bunny was on the porch again this morning. I think it's trying to sway me with it's cuteness.

Brownie says that she knows good recipes FOR rabbits... not won't share any recipes CONTAINING rabbits. haha

Since I get up before daylight to go out and toss a few kernals of corn to my 3-4 bunnies...you know the only things I have growing are hanging tomatoes. The Raccoons will probaby get those. I saw one walk off with a small canalope one year.

Plant Catnip around your garden to keep cats hanging around it..might keep the bunnies away.
