The New Chicks

LuLu and no name buff Silkie

Peanut Butter is a Japanese Bantam (buff with black tail )

Cotton is a Polish (white crested black)

LuLu is an Easter Egger (don't know what color)

I picked the chicks up yesterday morning from the post office. And all four of them made the trip and are now eating and drinking lots. We have 3 of them named so far, but can't figure out what to call the little silkie yet. Hopefully it will come to us soon. As always, we are just loving the new babies and we hope that they all will make it.

Cute, cute, cute! Looks like they are all healthy, would you recomend my pet chicken? I like that you can order order just a few chicks, not like the hatcheries.

Kim, I was worried about the shipping from Ohio with the summer heat, but they're doing great so far.

I do like MPC, the customer service is wonderful and they can also check the gender on the chicks. Not a perfect science, but better than just straight run.

I'm just trying to picture baby chicks at the post office. For some reason, that just makes me laugh, since we live right smack in the city!

and the little guys are adorable! Can't wait to watch them grow up on here. ;)

Oh, my, they are just breathtakingly cute! Thanks so much for the ID on my little flower. We have been wondering for several years what it was.
