Very cool! Did she have any soft or abnormal eggs or did she start right off with the real deal? Looks like its a good size too. She is a very pretty chick.

Kim, a perfect first try, I was expecting a couple soft ones, but she surprised me.
It's time to start the daily egg hunt. Sometimes they leave them in some pretty strange places. How many for an omlet?
How exciting! Is Vera the one that laid the egg on Elizabeth's b-day party too. She is so pretty!

Add me to the Very Easily Amused list. And Vera is a pretty chicken. I like her coloring.
Anon, So far she has been using her nest box. And for size, it looks to be about 2 banty eggs for one large like you'd get from the store.
Jenn, it was Vera. We weren't sure because of having the other two girls, but I caught her coming out of the box so that solved the mystery.
