Hammock Snakeroot

Hammock Snakeroot is another great wildflower for the shady areas of the yard. I have mine planted in with Rouge Berry and Wild Coffees and it really looks beautiful when all of them are in bloom.

We know this as "white ageratum." We do not have any in our yard, but we do have the lavender ageratum, which is also known as purple mist flower.

I've heard about that one: it blooms this time of year, so it has good timing.

Dani girl, Wow!! Those colors look great under that tree. I guess it's a good thing you don't have twenty acres. We would just have to watch for dust clouds if we needed you. Dear One, you are a miracle with a shovel and a hoe.
Hugs to all.
love you, Mom

Lisa, thanks for stopping in. :)

Robert, I love our fall bloomers.

Amy, I walked out this morning and it's covered in blooms! So pretty.

Mom, you can barely get me inside as it is, could you imagine if I had alot of land!
I'll try to call in the morning, I finally got around to checking the caller ID and saw you called twice. Sorry I missed you.

Those are beautiful! Especially for this time of the year. Do they bloom through the winter season that we have down here?

Laura, I don't think they do, but I'll look it up just so I'm sure.
