I'm sad to say, Cotton, our White Crested Black Polish, has started crowing and we can't keep him since we live in the city. If anyone is interested, just leave me a comment.
ScMomma, I put a listing up in Backyard Chickens as well, so maybe someone will want him.
Laura, I was hoping FC might want a new boy toy for Princess Laya. ;)
My neighbors love the girls, but never in a million years would I want to upset them with a crowing roo. And what has been up with the drivers this week? That's all we've been hearing when we're outside!
Lisa, I've read that it can be done, but it's very risky. And quite honestly, I think you'd have a hard time finding a vet that would do such a procedure.
Hi Dani, I'm glad you posted a comment on my GBBD post. I love your blog, and wanted you to know I made it back this far. I hope you found a good home for your rooster. How big is your yard that you are able to have chickens? I'd love to have one or two, but don't think we can here anymore. I would have to learn how to take care of them. My mother-in-law's dad had some that he used to take for walks, and their cat would tag along. When she was a teenager, she was embarrassed about it. They lived on a double lot, and had a huge garden.

That stinks! I knew she/he was sassy from the other post about her/him pecking at your camera. Good luck finding a safe and healthy home!!
Aw, that's too bad. I hope you find a good home for him!
Darla, unfortunately this happens. We pay the extra money to have them sexed at birth but it's only 90 percent accurate. :(
FC, where are you?!!! We have a bloggin chicken transfer to do! ;)
Is he bugging the neighbors? I dont think I'd complain at all, it beats hearing the sirens and the sound of cars slamming on their brakes!
Btw, the SPCA has a farm, maybe they'll take him?

Hey Sue, thanks for stopping in. We had a surprise when Cotton decided to lay an egg. Come to find out she is just one loud hen.
Our back yard is small but the chickens fit well. Someday, we'll get out of the city into a large piece of land in the country.
