From the title I expected to see a bird, not a butterfly. Amazing photos. The caterpillar is almost as beautiful as the butterfly. You got some great shots!
thats why when i find them on my parsley i throw them in the hedges. I know theres a butterfly coming! I have a lot of the tiger swallowtails and the little brown skippers. I love the little tiny blue ones too.

Beautiful! They are very prolific in my yard, I always make sure to plant extra so there will be some left for me!
All my Butterfly Bushes expired over the winter!! Going to have to replace them as soon as we get the remains cleared out.
My butterfly bushes are taking off, I have plenty of parsley for both me and butterflies.
The rabbits and squirrels however get NOTHING!!!
Erin, they are little eating machines!
Froggy, *wahhhhhhh* I can never get butterfly bushes to grow well for me.
Shamy, haven't had any trouble with cute little bunnies yet. But I know they're out there just waiting for a chance.
That's breathtaking!!!
Dearest Dani, these have to be some of my all-time favorite photos of yours! And that's saying a lot :)
Fabulous photos!

So pretty. I never see them at my house despite my efforts at 'baiting' them.
Glad you are getting some butterflies in your garden. None on my dill or fennel yet.
I haven't seen many this year. Mostly Sulfurs since I planted the cassia.
