Pickleworms
I've been finding these Pickleworms lately on my pumpkin plants. They can be destructive if not caught soon enough, (we found this out over the summer) so I've been trying to keep up with them. Luckily, I have the chickens to help me out. They never pass up a chance for a tasty little morsel.

Yippee for chickens!! Pumpkins may make it with their help. :)
Lisa, I hope so, they're the little sugar pie variety. YUMMY!!
I'm not really a pet kinda person, (there is a reason I stick with plants) but if I was, I'm kinda leaning towards chickens. They eat pests, their composted poo can be garden gold and as I recently discovered at my girlfriend's house, they can be wildly entertaining. Kinda cool.
Wicked Gardener, chickens are so cool, I think you'd enjoy them. :)
