This week's Dim Sum Sunday is, Summer Blockbuster, let Hollywood be your culinary muse. So we take you back to 1984 with the film Ghostbusters.
I ain't afraid of no roast
In honor of this great movie, we present to you, "I ain't afraid of no roast"
No, I did not come up with the catchy title, it's from TBS "Dinner and a Movie".
Head over to the Karmic Kitchen for some more Dim Sum Sunday fun.

Ahhahahahahhahahahah. That is so excellent. And remember the meat was your choice. Sure does look yummy and finally a No Churn Sunday for the Hubs.
Happy Dim Sum Sunday.
Catchy, lol, and yummy! I didn't know they even still did Dinner & a Movie - I haven't watched since the 90's...LOVED when Paul & Annabelle hosted!
That looks really tasty and I LOVE the title!
Roast is one of my favorite comfort foods. If there's a roast in the oven then all must be right in the world.
It looks yummy! Can you believe my step-son (22 yr) wants to be a ghostbuster! :)
You are brave to make a roast in this heat, it makes my air con work harder to have the oven on for a few hours but it looks oh so good!!! (We snorkeled instead of cooked today!) I'd love a nice roast beast sammy today!
Very classic looking roast. You should have had a side order of slime!
Happy MM!
Buzz is right, creamed spinach could certainly pass as slime.
Shamu, I could tell he was really missing it! ;)
Erin, thank goodness we came across their website! They were chalk full of recipes for the movies.
ScMomma, I know what to cook now if you ever come and visit. :)
Lisa, now THAT would be a cool job!
Diva, sounds like you had a good Sunday at the beach.
Buzz and Sham, I wish I would have thought of something like that!
You really shouldn't let the family know that you can cook a roast. Is it too hot in August to cook a roast? ;-)
Smart Aleck Kid!
Mom
Holy Carp - I have that DISH!!!
Great minds, that's all I'm saying.
4th, It could be 110 and I'd still cook you a roast. Love yah baby.
