Gosh I don't think anyone could pull me in from that garden, well maybe the humidity later on LOL but I'd want to camp out there!

OK, any update on Shamy's gender? Will Shamy look like Cotton, who just cracks me up every time? Could your green beans get any fatter?
Do you plant watermelon?

Just planted my seeds that you sent me. Mostly the tomatoes. This weekend will start the rest.

The chickens, they crack me up!

Erin, Gah, our humidity is a killer! My bean plants are already starting to get mildew spots from it.

Shamy, I really feel that she's a girl. *fingers and toes crossed*

When Baby Shamy grows up she'll look like our Silky that got killed except in a different color.

I've grown watermelon a few times. Didn't have much success though. I tend to have a black thumb when it comes to the squash and melons.

Cotton is a White Crested Black Polish. She's a big ole sweetheart, but tends to get into a lot of mischief.

Good job picking those beans Elizabeth!

I just had green beans last night and they don't look anywhere near as good as yours.

Wow! Super lush and beautiful. Your chickens have great expresssions. Love them.

Nice harvest of beans, and yes it does feel like summer is actually here!

Dani said...

Yeah, what's up with that Susan? Seems like spring only lasted a couple weeks this year.

Froggy, they crack me up too. Love them Girlz!

Buzz, if the green beans keep growing like this, I'm gonna have to start shipping them to you and Shamy.

Darla, she's such a big helper. :)

Boxer, I hope you can get outside there soon and get your spring flowers goin'.

What do you use to keep the buggies off of your plants? Anything?

It all looks so yummy! ('cept the chickens)

Shamy be a girlie!!!

Elizabeth looks so in her element.

The green beans look FAB. (Mine ended up tough and weird. Ended up popping them open and cooking the inside beans and eating them like pintos. Overgrown, much?)

There will be no planting around here again this year due to medical agenda. I am so happy that I can come to your peaceful garden for online visits.

Dani said...

SPP, I don't use that many chemicals, but when I do it's usually things like neem oil.

Mmmmmm.....crunchy beans! What do you make with them all? Back when I lived in L.A., I had an heirloom bean soup that was the specialty of a restaurant on Beverly. I keep thinking about making it.
